Organogenesis
Organogenesis is a process in
which the three germ layers of the embryo (ectoderm, endoderm, and mesoderm) differentiate
and also specialize to form the various organs of the body. Organogenesis
continues to occur until the specific characteristics of the organs are
achieved.
