One and Two The vertices + faces - edges = 2 14 + f - 36 f - 22 = 2 f = 22 + 2 = 24
You have that right. So is the next one.
Four I can find the surface area Area = 2*triangles + height * hypotenuse +( one smaller side + other smaller side)* height Area = 2*(1/2 * 6*9) + 10.82 *25 + (6 + 9)*25 Area = 54 + 255.25 + 15*25 Area = 54 +270.5 + 375 Area = 698.25 I see that I could have made that shorter. Area = 698
I have no idea how you would choose to do the lateral area, I can guess. For this question you take the perimeter of the 9 width and 25 length and multiply by the height 6. 6*(68) = 408 but that's wrong.
Try the triangle Perimeter of the triangle = 6 + 9 + 10.82 = 25.82 Now multiply by the height = P * h Lateral Area = 25.82 * 25 = 645.5 That appears in the first answer, but not in the last.
there's only one more to try. Perimeter of the 6 base 2*L + 2*W 2*6 + 2*25 = 62 Then multiplied by the height (9) 62*9 = 558 and that's not right. Sorry I can't give you an answer for this. Check my numbers.
Try D <<<<< answer
Five SA = 2 * lids + can surface SA = 2 * pi * r^2 + Circumference * height SA = 2 * pi * 36 + 2*pi * r * 12 SA = 72*pi + 144 pi SA = 216 in^2
A <<<<< answer.
I haven't time for the last 2 which are really 6 more questions. I'm really rushed today so if you repost them as a separate question, I may have time later on.
