A flower bed has the shape of a rectangle 24 feet long and 9 feet wide. What is it’s area in square yards?

The rectangle area can be found using the formula L*W.

A = 24 * 9 
A = 216

Just multiply the length and the width together
24 x 9 = 216 yards squared
