(3/2)x+y=(-29/2), First find the slope with the slope formula, M=(y2-y1)/(x2-x1) and then use (5,-7) and the newly found slope and plug into the point slope formula, y-y1=m(x-x1) and then add or subtract to get the variables on the correct side to make the equation the standard form: ax + by = c.
