y and x have a proportional relationship, and y = 9 when x = 2. What is the value of y when x = 3?

I'm gonna have to say that I think [tex]y=10[/tex] because when [tex]x=2[/tex] [tex]y=9[/tex] and [tex]x[/tex] only increase one value so in my mind it only makes sense for [tex]y[/tex] to only increase one value.
