u know ac = 17
ab = 4x-9
bc = 3x+5

ac = ab + bc


17 =[ 4x-9 ] + [ 3x+5]

17 = 4x+3x -9 +5

17 = 7x -4

17+4= 7x

21 = 7x

21 : 7 = x
