How do kidneys work with other body systems to maintain homeostasis?

Kidneys filter the extra water and toxic materials in your blood (circulatory system). The help maintain homeostasis by keeping the level of toxic materials down in your body. The filtered materials are sent, with the extra water, to your bladder , where it is known as urine/ pee.
