The appropriate response is Transverse tubule or commonly know as T-tubule, profound invagination of the sarcolemma, which is the plasma of skeletal muscle and cardiac muscle cells. These invaginations permit depolarization of the layer to rapidly infiltrate to the inside of the cell.
