The time period remain unchanged as mass of the pendulum is increased  because time period does not depend upon mass of the pendulum .

Time period = 2π[tex]\sqrt{l/g}[/tex]

l = length

g = acceleration due to  gravity

Hence , if the mass of the bob increases, the time period of the pendulum remains unaffected because time period does not depend upon mass of the pendulum .
