Solution:

[tex] x_{ 1} = - 7 , x_{ 2} = 4 \\ y_{ 1} = 5 , y_{ 2} = 5[/tex]

Using the distance formula

[tex] \sqrt{(x_{2 } - x_{ 1} {)}^{2} + (y_{ 2} -y_{ 1} {)}^{2} } [/tex]

Substitute with the given values

[tex] \sqrt{(4 - ( - 7 {)}^{2} + (5 - 5 {)}^{2} } [/tex]

[tex] \sqrt{(11 {)}^{2} + (0 {)}^{2} } [/tex]

[tex] \sqrt{121 + 0} = \sqrt{121} [/tex]

[tex] \sqrt{121} = 11[/tex]

Therefore:

Distance [tex] = 11[/tex]
