Then plugged in the values:

[tex]\frac{-3-5}{2-(-4)} =\frac{-8}{6}[/tex]

[tex]\frac{-8}{6}=\frac{-4}{3}[/tex]

thats how i got my answer; also the y-int. is -1/3
