what you want to do is set FX equal to zero because you're looking for the X intercept which means that y or FX will equal 0
then you solve for X by moving -8 to the other side so it will change to positive 8 (because you add eight on both sides to get rid of -8)
And then you divide that eight with -2 so you isolate x
