A Bikini and sunglasses cost 110 $ in total. The Bikini costs 100 $ more than the glasses. How much do the Sunglasses cost?

{b=s+100}

Solving:
s+s+100=110
2s+100=110 (simplify)
2s=10 (subtract 100)
s=5 (divide by 2)

b+5=110
b=105 (subtract 5)

Let glasses be g.

Bikini cost $100 more than glasses = 100 + g.

Total cost = $110

g + (100 + g) = 110

g + g + 100 = 110

2g + 100 = 110

2g = 110 - 100

2g = 10

g = 10/2

g = 5

Therefore the sunglasses represented by g = $5
