first you would go and subtract the y coordinates 13-9 which is 4 then you would do the same for the x values -3-5 which is -8. then you would make your fraction which is 4/-8. you would simplify that to be negative 1/2. then you take your slope - 1/2 and multiply that by one of your x values and see the difference so i did that for 5 and got -2.5 and added 11.5 t get to 9 so you would do that for the other one to see if it works. and it does so your equation is Y= - 1/2X + 11.5.
