To Find :

At what voltage can a 10 μF capacitor be energized to 0.45 J.

Solution :

We know, energy in capacitor is given by :

[tex]E = \dfrac{CV^2}{2}[/tex]

So,

[tex]V = \sqrt{\dfrac{2E}{C}}\\\\V = \sqrt{\dfrac{2\times 0.45}{10}}\ \mu V\\\\V = 0.3 \ \mu V[/tex]

Therefore, voltage required is [tex]0.3 \ \mu V[/tex] .
