If the equation is in standard form:ax+by=c then you just set x equal to 0 to find the y intercept and set y equal to 0 to find the x intercept. It makes sense, right. The y intercept is when the line crosses the y axis, so x will always be 0, so that is why we set x equal to 0.Step-by-step explanation:
