The numbers in these -> | brackets indicate absolute number which means the numbers between them are always end up positive

Just follow regular BEDMAS/PEDMAS:

|-19+(9/3)| - |14-(22/9)|

|-19+3| - |14-2.444|

|-16| - |11.556|

Then at the end make sure the numbers are all positive:

|16| - |11.556| OR just 16 - 11.556

= 4.444
