5/6x = -10

=> 5/6x = -10/1

by cross multiplication

=> 6x × - 10 = 5 × 1

=> 6x = 5 × 1 / -10

=> 6x = 1/-2

=> x = 1/-2 ×6

=> x = 1/-12
