Step-by-step explanation:

[tex] \cos( \frac{ - 4}{7} ) [/tex]

which means base = -4 ,perpendicular = ? ,hypotenuse = 7

let base = x perpendicular = y and hypotenuse = r

according to Pythagoras theorm

r²=x²+y²

y²= x² - r²

=( -4)²-(7)²

= 33

square root both sides

y = √33

value of sin and tan

[tex] \sin( \frac{ \sqrt{33} }{7} ) [/tex]

[tex] \tan( \frac{ - 4}{ \sqrt{33 } } ) [/tex]
