Answer:

Total Length of Wooden Log = 18 inches

The length of two equal pieces of wooden log is [tex]6\frac{1}{3}[/tex] inches.

Total length of two wooden pieces

     [tex]=2 \times 6\frac{1}{3}\\\\=\frac{38}{3}\\\\=12 \frac{2}{3}[/tex]

Length of third piece of wooden log having length 18 cm

       [tex]=18 -12\frac{2}{3}\\\\=18-\frac{38}{3}\\\\=\frac{16}{3}\\\\=5\frac{1}{3}[/tex]

So, Length of 3 parts of wooden log having length 18 cm are [tex]6\frac{1}{3}, 6\frac{1}{3},and 5\frac{1}{3}.[/tex]
