we know that

[tex] 1m=100cm [/tex]

now, we can square both sides

[tex] (1m)^2=(100cm)^2 [/tex]

[tex] 1m^2=10000cm^2 [/tex]

we are given

[tex] =5.1m^2 [/tex]

now, we can write it as

[tex] 5.1m^2=5.1*1m^2 [/tex]

we can replace 1m^2

we get

[tex] 5.1m^2=5.1*10000cm^2 [/tex]

we get

[tex] 5.1m^2=51000cm^2 [/tex].............Answer
