the scale model of a building is 5.4 feet tall. if the model is made out of tiny bricks each measuring 0.4 inch in height, how many bricks tall is the model?

Each brick is .4 inch and the whole thing is 5.4 inches tall. So the height over the size of each brick will give you the total number of bricks. 

5.4/.4
=13.5

13 1/2 and a half bricks were used to make the model.
