Calculate the mass percent of nacl in a solution containing 3.00 g of nacl in 50.0 g of water.

3.00 g + 50.0 g =53.0 g - mass of the solution

mass % = (mass solute/ mass solution)*100% = (3.00/53.0)*100% =
= 0.0566*100% =5.66%
