if the mass of a material is 46 grams and the volume of the material is 5 cm^3 what would the density of the material be?

We use the following formula for calculating the density:

p = m/v

Where:
m = mass
v = volume

So, we have:

p = 46 /5
p = 9,2 g/cm³

Density  = mass / volume

= 46 / 5

= 9.2 grams / cm^3
