Biogeographical

While developing the theory of natural selection, Darwin’s observations of the Finches was an example of biogeographical evidence. He suggested that one ancestral group of the finches evolved to produce several related species of finches over time by hypothesizing the distinguishing conditions of each island occupied  by the finches.
