While the CDC has mentioned the impact of hunger on students, the CDC has also stated that unhealthy eating is linked to lower grades and test scores. If students leave school for lunch, there’s no guarantee that they will eat something healthy, or that they will eat lunch at all. If students leave school at lunch, their school performance will suffer.
